Judith Alder - introduction

JUDITH ALDER IS A VISUAL ARTIST whose practice reflects her interest in areas where the arts, humanities and science converge with human experience.

IDEAS LED - Although with a background in printmaking, Judith's work is primarily led by ideas and enquiry. Her practice forms an investigative process through which she considers the every-day concerns, contradictions and conflicts of life.

PROCESSES - Judith's work develops in response to sites and situations through the processes of collecting data, objects and materials; looking and learning; turning things upside down and inside out; measuring, mapping, counting and categorizing; drawing and making things.
