PLANS FOR NEW PROJECT "BREAKING GROUND" - A COLLABORATION WITH ROZ CRAN - Plans are under way for a new collaborative project with Roz Cran. The proposed project, “Breaking Ground” , will develop in two parts: Part 1 will involve Initiation of a dialogue to be based on a mutual examination of our respective practices. We will make a presentation of our work to each other, interview each other about our practices, and then write an article about each other's practice. The articles will be published on a-n projects unedited

In Part 2 , we will develop ideas for a joint residency on an allotment, during which we will explore the possibility of producing a body of new work together, based upon existing common ground and interests. The residency will be called "Two Artists in Residence on an Allotment: Breaking Ground"

The whole project will be documented on a-n projects unedited.

Mon 27 November, 6-8.30pm

"Pecha Cucha (Japanese for 'chit chat') is an informal forum for interaction and exchange. Using the Running Stitch themes as a starting point, five seven-minute slide talks by invited speakers provide the initial stimulus for the evening, followed by food, drink and chat."

I'm going to be giving a short talk based on recent "Mappings" work at the Pecha Cucha event. To download a copy of my Powerpoint presentation, click here. You can also download a copy of my written preparation for the presentation here.
